HP Network is seeking dependable, compassionate, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Homemakers.

Our Homemakers provide non-medical support to individuals who need assistance maintaining their homes, completing everyday household activities, and remaining as independent and comfortable as possible in their communities.

This is a full-time, client-facing position for someone who enjoys helping others, takes pride in creating a clean and comfortable home environment, and values building positive, professional relationships with the people they support.

The role combines practical household assistance with companionship and everyday support. Your reliability and consistency can make a meaningful difference in a client's ability to maintain their routines and continue living safely and comfortably at home.

Position Overview

The Homemaker provides non-medical household and supportive services in clients' homes based on each client's individualized service needs.

Services may include housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping and errands, household organization, companionship, routine safety check-ins, and medication reminders.

Homemakers are expected to promote client dignity, choice, independence, privacy, and respect while providing dependable and professional support.

This is a non-medical position and does not include hands-on personal care, medication administration, or skilled nursing services.

Responsible For
  • Provide non-medical homemaker services in clients' homes according to assigned service plans
  • Perform routine housekeeping, including cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living areas
  • Assist with laundry, linens, and general household organization
  • Prepare simple meals and assist with meal planning as needed
  • Assist with grocery shopping, errands, and other approved household activities
  • Provide companionship and appropriate social interaction
  • Provide routine safety check-ins and observe the client's home environment
  • Provide medication reminders as permitted; Homemakers do not administer medications
  • Encourage client participation and independence in household activities whenever appropriate
  • Respect each client's preferences, routines, privacy, dignity, and personal belongings
  • Complete required service documentation accurately and on time
  • Promptly report changes, concerns, incidents, or potential safety issues to the appropriate supervisor
  • Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
  • Follow infection-control, safety, emergency, and incident-reporting procedures
  • Attend required orientation, training, staff meetings, and continuing education
  • Follow HP Network policies, procedures, and all applicable New Hampshire requirements
Additional Requirements
Hours & Structure
  • Full-time, W-2, at-will position
  • Work is performed on-site in clients' homes and community settings, based on assigned client schedules
  • Regular service availability is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM
  • Weekend and holiday assignments may be available based on client needs and scheduling
  • Individual work schedules may vary based on client assignments and service needs
  • Local travel between assigned client locations may be required
On-Call Expectations
  • Participation in after-hours, weekend, or holiday coverage may be requested based on client needs and employee availability
  • Employees may have opportunities to accept additional or short-notice assignments when coverage is needed
  • On-call or additional assignments are coordinated by HP Network based on operational and client needs
  • This position does not require awake overnight supervision

Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with clients, follow service plans and instructions, and complete required documentation
  • Must successfully complete HP Network's required orientation and training before independently providing services
  • Prior education or training in human services, healthcare, hospitality, housekeeping, or a related field is helpful but not required

  • Hourly Rate: $19.00/hour
  • W-2 employment
  • Employees are paid for authorized hours worked in accordance with HP Network's payroll practices
  • Authorized work-related mileage is reimbursed at the applicable company mileage rate
