About the Role

HP Network is a startup Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) provider preparing to launch operations in New Hampshire on May 7, 2026, supporting individuals under the DD and ABD waiver programs.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced RN Nurse Trainer to help establish and maintain clinical training, medication compliance, and quality assurance systems from the ground up.

This is a low-hour, high-responsibility role with the opportunity to grow alongside the organization.

Position Overview

The RN Nurse Trainer will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with He-M 1201, including medication administration training, staff certification, and documentation oversight.

Specific Skills
  • Active RN license in New Hampshire
  • Certified Nurse Trainer (NH Bureau of Developmental Services)
  • Experience with HCBS, IDD, or ABD preferred
  • Strong knowledge of He-M 1201 and 1001
  • Strong reliability and communication skills
Responsible For
  • Conduct medication administration training in accordance with He-M 1201
  • Certify and recertify staff in medication administration
  • Review medication logs and documentation for compliance
  • Ensure proper medication storage and inventory practices
  • Educate clients on self-administration of medications
  • Maintain required documentation (e.g., 1201 A & B forms)
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits
  • Participate in medication-related oversight and improvement processes
  • Support revocation, appeals, and waiver processes as needed
  • Collaborate with program managers on client care and compliance
  • Provide guidance during clinical or operational concerns
Additional Requirements
Hours & Structure
  • 2–15 hours bi-weekly (initial need)
  • Hours expected to increase as client census grows
  • Flexible scheduling based on operational needs
On-Call Expectations:
  • Participation in a rotational on-call schedule
  • Calls are first received by on-call staff, who will contact the RN Nurse Trainer when clinical input is required
  • Response is voicemail/call-back based (not immediate response required)
  • Compensation provided for actual time worked (minimum 15-minute increments)
  • No standby/on-call hourly requirement
