Meet Matilda Agyemang, a dedicated Nurse Trainer at HP Network with a wealth of experience in healthcare. With a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and years of hands-on experience, Matilda’s expertise is the backbone of our team’s training program.
Matilda’s career started at Lawrence General Hospital, where she worked in the Medical/Surgical unit providing critical care and managing complex patient needs. She also gained valuable experience at Willow Manor Healthcare Center, honing her skills in patient care, team collaboration, and clinical decision-making. These roles laid the foundation for her transition into training and mentoring others.
At HP Network, Matilda’s role is pivotal in ensuring that our staff is always equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to provide the best care. She trains staff on medication administration, conducts monthly quality assurance checks, and offers guidance in crisis situations. Matilda’s calm and thoughtful leadership helps empower the team, ensuring they’re confident and prepared in any situation.
Her background in critical care and patient assessment allows her to bring real-world experience into her training sessions, creating an environment of continuous learning and improvement. She’s passionate about empowering her colleagues to provide excellent care, and her leadership fosters a culture of excellence within the organization.
Outside of work, Matilda enjoys attending church and creating educational videos—activities that keep her grounded and inspire her in both her personal and professional life.
