As a Home Care Provider at HP Network, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to adult individuals in the comfort of your home. In this independent contractor role, you will assist individuals with daily tasks, personal care, and activities that support their health and well-being. You will help create a supportive living environment that empowers the individual to reach their fullest potential.

Specific Skills
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with IDD or ABD preferred.
  • Ability to offer a private, safe bedroom space that meets safety codes and complies with agency regulations.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Secure high-speed internet access, laptop, cell phone, and home phone.
  • Must pass background checks, including BEAS, criminal checks, driving record check, and TB test.
  • Homeowner's insurance policy that meets agency and regulatory compliance.
  • Understanding of HIPAA, HITECH, and related privacy laws.
  • Familiarity with HE-M 1001 and 1201 regulations and adherence to agency policies.
Preferred:
  • Experience with medication administration.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant caregiving training.
Responsible For
  • Personal Care and Assistance:
    • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
    • Ensure clients are comfortable and maintain good hygiene and personal comfort.
  • Health Monitoring and Medication Support:
    • Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
    • Monitor the client’s physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to management.
  • Household Support:
    • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable living space.
  • Emotional and Social Support:
    • Engage in social, educational, and recreational activities to promote emotional well-being.
    • Foster a positive relationship with the client, encouraging independence and socialization.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
    • Ensure that your home meets all local, state, and federal safety codes to provide a secure environment for the client.
    • Comply with HE-M 1001 and 1201 regulations, HIPAA, HITECH, and all agency policies.
  • Transportation Assistance:
    • Provide transportation for medical appointments or outings, if needed.
Additional Requirements
Preferred but not required:
  • Experience with medication administration.
